Creator Sessions
Creator Sessions are an invitation to step into the creative process and help shape the direction of my work.
These limited, portfolio-building sessions are where we explore new ideas, experiment with light and movement, and create with fewer expectations. The result is imagery that feels fresh, expressive, and deeply personal. They’re a natural fit for people and their dogs who are open to the unexpected, trust the process, and are excited to be part of something evolving.
Because these sessions support the growth of my fine art and lifestyle work, they are offered at a more accessible rate than my standard sessions. In return, you’ll receive beautifully finished images, with the understanding that each session is guided by creativity and exploration rather than a fixed outcome. Images are selected after your session, with artwork options available as they are introduced.
Each Creator Session series is limited, and once filled, the opportunity closes as I continue exploring new ideas and directions.
What to Expect
Creator Sessions are relaxed and collaborative, with an emphasis on the process as much as the final images.
I’ll guide you with a general creative direction, often inspired by a mood, location, or idea I’m exploring. While everything is approached professionally, the outcome isn’t built around a fixed style or specific shot list.
Instead, we allow space for things to unfold naturally, letting genuine moments shape what we create. Your final images will still be thoughtfully curated and finished in my signature way, just within a more open and exploratory experience.

Wildlings – For the Little Adventurers

For the explorers, the dreamers, and the ones who rarely stay still for long.
Wildling Sessions are about celebrating that playful, untamed spirit before it shifts into something new. Inspired by the quiet magic of childhood stories, these sessions capture the wonder, imagination, and beautifully unfiltered energy of being young.
We’ll meet in a forested corner of Red Deer, with sessions available in the early morning or during golden hour, when the light is soft, warm, and just a little bit magical. Your child is mostly free to run, climb, explore, and simply be, while I gently document the moments in between. The laughter, the curiosity, the fleeting expressions that are so easy to miss and impossible to recreate.
Sessions are relaxed and natural, blending unposed moments with gentle direction to create images that feel like memories rather than something staged for the camera. A faux fur hat is available to add a touch of whimsy and a hint of the wild, though it’s always optional.
Each session lasts approximately 60 minutes, with availability in the early morning or during golden hour, when the light is at its most beautiful. Finished images are selected after your session so you can choose your favorites.

Tails of the Wild – Outdoor Dog Portraits

For the soulful gaze, the noble stance, and the quiet moments that speak volumes.
These sessions take place in forested locations around Red Deer, where light, texture, and your dog’s unique personality come together to create images with a rich, painterly feel, more artwork than snapshot.
Whether your companion is a seasoned trick star, a free-spirited wanderer, or somewhere in between, I work with patience, positivity, and plenty of treats to bring out their best. Each moment is gently guided with intention, creating images that feel at home on your wall, even if your dog thinks “sit” is optional.
A simple lead on collar is required, no harnesses, to maintain the clean, timeless look of these portraits. Spring, summer, and fall sessions run approximately 60 to 90 minutes and take place in the early morning or during golden hour, when the light is at its most beautiful. Finished images are selected after your session so you can choose your favorites.
